Mind Blowing tweets

Postby Netherrealmer » 26 Jun 2020, 14:01

This thread will be my compilation of some cringe tweets of some people who somehow are able to use the internet. Some of the tweets are amazing while others are cringy.

This racist lady not only doesn't know how to spell Native Americans , She also thought they are immigrants from India because you know Christopher Columbus calls them Indians.

I am just now realizing what people mean when they say Don't do a 'Karen' on me. But those tweets are so bad I wouldn't even call them a 'Karen'.

My sister Karen is in no way like these thickos

I always say a lot of these unsavoury characters are as thick as two short planks. I hope they know Big Brother's watching and that they may have dug themselves holes so deep they may never ever be able to dig themselves out. As for Trump, well, he ought to know better. Just shameful.

I've had the record of the 'hall of cost' one for some time now. The one with Tessie made me chuckle but on a second look, did she actually imply that the virus doesn't exist or she just thought the meme was funny? Her first post looked like she hit 'share' instead of creating it herself? I'm not sure but yes, we come across these know-it-alls on a daily basis. Giving them the benefit of the doubt - sometimes I wonder if they were meant to be funny. Haha!

Times have surely changed. People have always made mind-blowing comments like this. But I guess somehow if they tweet it, they think it gives the words some sort validity or legitimacy.

It's awful when it gets them fired from their job! I'm not too sure that's fair or right. When I worked a regular 9-to-5 job people always said crazy stuff. But they didn't get fired for it; unless it interfered with getting the work done. If you didn't do your job or you made it hard for others to do their jobs that's different. That's grounds for termination. After all, the boss didn't hire you for your commentary and opinion. You're supposed to be working! But if you're on social media and on your time and dime, not on the boss's time an dime, I'm not so sure you should get fired.

It's complicated. Because the lady at the park walking her dog was not at work when she dared to call the cops and say that a black man was attacking her and it was caught on camera ... when she came in to work, she got fired! I didn't feel sorry for her at all. Because her actions mean she might also falsely accuse one of her co-workers and cause them to lose their job. You know what I mean?

It's complicated. Hope these folks making comments got a good lawyer. :D

Almost no distancing and well this person's mask is off. We saw pictures of people sitting with masks plus face shields- provided by Airlines in domestic flights which were only recently allowed in India in a limited way and with more gaps in the seating arranagments.

OMG some of these are beyond VILE. You really can't make it up. @fergus1234 - did you see the news today? President Trump tweeted a redneck supporter of his chanting "white power" and naturally received some backlash for it. The response? He never actually heard what the supporter was saying, he only saw his supporter 'being enthusiastic'! I'll leave it right there.

Some people have problems of liking posts that praises them without reading the whole tweet.

Trump's responses are usually like that. He didn't hear it. He didn't see it. He doesn't know the person. The "D" in Donald must stand for DENIAL!

You know generally I'm not a talkative person about our political leaders. I have lived through administrations from Eisehower. Of course I was just a kid when Eisenhower was in office. But from John Kennedy forward I had some thoughts, opinions, and views. But none of the presidents have ever had me wondering each day when I wake up ... 'Uh oh! What is it this time?' Trump has me scratching my head. Good grief! Each day! It's always something!

Did anything else happen to the Taco Bell guy? That looks like something that would go further than firing him. I usually wonder first if the tweets are real but it has been proven that such things do happen.

I'm surprised that it ended there. That's something that could get people sick. One restaurant had to pay out $40,000 to a family because the food was tainted with an employee's spit and urine, causing the children to become ill. Sometimes the employers pay dearly for the spiteful behaviour of few employees. The employee in this case was fined $100.
