One of the longest Youtube careers is Jenna Marbles, She got popular because of her dark comedy. I remember this is her first viral video that made her famous on Youtube.






She actually adjusted on the new Era of Youtube to not get demonetized stopped doing dark comedy and transitioned to vlogs but because of the Coronavirus, Woke zoomers have so many time on their hands and found her old skits and find them offensive in the current era and decided to make a cancellation campaign against her.

2011 is a different decade and many jokes from that time are seen as offensive these days. But yeah the Wokes just became adults and decided to cyberbully her to quit Youtube.

Some of the Jokes on the sitcom Friends are considered offensive now. But you don't see people cancelling friends and wanting it to be banned.

Anyways I find it ironic to complain about nikki minaj parody when nikki minaj regularly lightens her skin with makeup/photo editing to look lighter than she naturally is.

Wow, cyberbullying is really a thing! I bet all those people who bullied her into quitting were jealous of all her fame and fortune. But @fergus1234, you're right, comedy really is all about timing. What was funny last year may not necessarily be funny this year. So you just have to be spatially aware and sensitive to everything around you, although some people don't even care about that because there are times when I hear things that are funny yet inappropriate.

Jenna Marbles is not very popular here in India so I had not heard about her till I read this post. But it appears quite preposterous that someone should raise an issue about some joke or content that was streamed almost 10 years ago. It was altogether a different era then, a decade ago.
