US is considering to ban tiktok

Postby Netherrealmer » 08 Jul 2020, 00:10

Tiktok gained success when Vine closed down and Youtube starting to favor long videos. People also used it to have influencer careers. Even celebrities are now using tik tok as a platform.

After India Banned Tik tok, USA is now considering to ban it too because of security issues and China is now being seen as a security threat by the US. The only good thing that came out of Tik Tok is Dalgona coffee.

Good i never trusted that stupid app.
lol to bad for the people who like it.
But yeah China can't really be trusted.
I think soon all Chinese apps might be banned.
I heard india banned mobile legends. i wil be sad if that app
gets banned cause then i have to stream a new game lol

Yup Mutahar talked about how China is canceled.

Also i still love Chinese food and hot Chinese babes
like Chun Li.

That's great news. Other countries should also ban that app and not trust on Chinese apps.

And I just wish the vine app will return because I like short funny yet creative videos.

And US will be amazed when China block some their app. I really don't understand those by country because of "securitiy" reasons.

I didn't know vine had shut down. Quite enjoyed watching funniest vines compilations.

I imagine people will just use vpns or apks to get around any ban.

Yes, after taking a cue from Indians, the news is that US is also considering to ban Tiktok, a Chinese app, citing security threat. Apparently, US has had indicated its consideration to ban Tiktok, much before India banned Tiktok, but no actions were taken. Now, if US truly bans Tiktok, many other countries may follow suit.

China bans facebook ,Twitter and Youtube a decade ago. So they can push their own social network. Hecky they banned Grumpy cat so China's own meme cat Snoopy will be their source of cat memes instead.

Aww @fergus1234, that Kitty Cat is TOO CUTE <3 <3

Yeah, it's all going down at the moment! I'm almost certain there's yet another country that's seriously considering banning TikTok - it was on the news this morning but I can't for the life of me remember which one it is.

If you play Mobile Legends which I heard popular in your country then you should stop playing now. There are other games worth playing.

India banned Tik Tok after the recent dispute with China. The reason being said is of security risk. Yet apart from that some of the objectionable content that I heard about that app was even a stronger reason for the ban, and it should have come earlier.
Yes, now it seems that it would be banned in US as well.

I really like mobile legends but I better start streaming a new main game..
before it gets banned.

Tik Tok is getting videos that if it didn't exist would be posted in YouTube. India also banned the app, that isn't good for China as they are losing two big countries.

I know, it's sad. But most teenagers does not know the value of boycotting a country that disrespect their neighbours. And our leader here consider China that bullies us as a good friend, which is appalling and disgusting. So, here we are, facing and dealing with the consequences for voting that idiotic president.

Oh, nice. However, Litlot needs improvement yet. Many users are complaining why there is few filters and other bugs they encountered.

Well tiktok use to be an imitation of dubsmash and Vine. I am sure a new one that is not dictator owned will replace it.
