Hard to tell without knowing the antivirus software you are using and the exact message. If it is a free antivirus software you are using, there is a greater chance of it being a marketing trick IMO.

I would never add some security app on mobile. It is enough have default by manufacturer. There is so many scams or ads you can't know what is true or not.

My Xiaomi 7A provides me their app and I didn't have any alerts so far or problems.

anil02 the best option would probably be to phone your bank directly and ask them about your concerns. Obviously don't give your login details to anyone either over the phone or online.

If you want to do online banking, Its better to use a PC with antivirus and anti-malware over a phone.

I also got such notifications from Avast which even suggested me to do banking related transactions from their own browser. But I wonder will they themselves not log our secret banking credentials and transfer those highly confidential info to shady businessess for profits. I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 and happy with the Windows defender that I got now.

I agree with you. Once I used my mobile phone to make payment thru paypal. M
Thereafter, I could not login paypal with my password. I had to use PC to get a new password and had to go through all the hassle with the paypal centre. Never use mobile

There are hackers who can hack phones just by being near you! that is why phones can be dangerous.
