Looks Google little get afraid of Slack app so they choose do something new. They do big redesign and add new functions.
Main thing will be connection email with chat apps like Google, CHat, Meet and Rooms.



Google Chat will be visible on email and it will be available using Gmail app. No more two separated apps.
Also Chat will be available search cross Gmail search bar.



There will some new options to work with people without gmail.

This seemed like a great competitor for zoom too since it is designed for people who works at home. I hope gsuite will have a dark theme because I hate white screen.

I think it will be for sure, I know a lot of people who are using Google meet instead of zoom and according to them it works just fine.

Google is know for making mistakes after the other. This one doesnt seem like something that will stand the taste of time. They strated with google baraza, then came in google plus and bunch of others that didnt see the light of day!! Now this is another Fail from google. Anyway, let's see how it goes.

You think it is fail in desing sense or connecting apps?

If you check Snapchat, it design change was bad accepted.

Well, I don't know. The latest Gmail update is not working on my cellphone. It is causing errors in opening chain emails such that they are not displaying at all. It had bring several features with its incremental updates but now this error is really bugging me.

How often do you use gmail? Do you have some theme? I have Moon surface theme on my gmail.

I had noticed the new design but I am not used to it, not user friendly. I prefer the old version which is easier to use. Too much good stuff isn't good either. Too many cooks spoil the broth.

Did you update it on latest version? If you didn't do it. Update can fix problem. Maybe you need to update entire system.
