There is now an Electric Van!

Postby Netherrealmer » 24 Jul 2020, 13:55

One of the biggest complaints against Electric cars is that it is too small so a big family or a pack of friends won't be able to use them. I mean yeah they look kinda small and most of them are 2 sitters only.

One more biggest criticism against electric cars is that they don't have the classic look of vintage cars because they look way modern and vintage cars looks classy and expensive because of their antique designs.

Well Volkswagen decided to repurpose one of their classic van models and release them as electric cars. So it is the size of a Van that can fit a whole family, it has the classic design of a vintage car but its environmentally friendly.

This is little weird. They first develop e trucks and later electric van. I guess they assume there is more trucks on streets than vans. Or vans are not so present in citys.

I think the development of trucks is to prove its possible to develop e-vehicles that can handle cross state travels because most e-cars cant be used for road trip.

Such a Van which can also be termed as a "Mini-Bus" would do well in India, if subsidized and also reasonably priced(may be less than INR 0.5 Million- 5 Lakhs).
But not sure if VW would like to bring it in India.

That is amazing but I don't think it can ever be like the normal Cars that uses fuel, the electric cars looks small compared to the normal ones and the electric van looks like a big toy :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Smile it's a great inventive anyway but it's completely not useful in my own country. Our light is bad as anything. We have not charged our phones and other appliances in the house let alone electric car

Wow. That is amazing. At least, the company are designing vehicles that fits with the customer's suggestions or demands. And hopefully, they will continue creating e-vehicles and make it cheaper than gas-powered cars.
