Rice is just like White sugar, A carbs that killed billions of people with diabetes and high blood pressure. Well Rice is healthy in brown form but we know brown rice tasted more like oatmeal than rice. Well some scientists are now making GMO rice that fights high blood pressure. This rice will be super healthy even in white form. I am not sure though if you guys can trust GMO. I am still have nightmares with the cockroach dna oranges.

I trust GMO so if genetically modifying the white rice into healthier rice then so be it. And genetically-modified plants will become our new organic food in the future inevitably. GMO could actually help the plants to thrive well in a changing climate and lessen the use of pesticides.

I don't like any GMO food even often the sell it under natural. It is hard to trust what do we eat since it is easy make fake labels. Natural food is also often sprayed with to much protective things.

Dietary fibre is one of the nutrients which is known to control hypertension, i.e. high blood pressure naturally. Among grains, barley has the highest amount of dietary fibre at 17.3%, followed by rye at 14.6% and oats at 10.6%. Brown rice has 3.5% dietary fibre, while white rice has negligible amount of dietary fibre, since most of it is lost during the polishing process. If by using GMO techniques, if the dietary content can be increased to, say above 17%, it will surely be much more effective than even barley when it comes to naturally controlling high blood pressure.

I won't mind GMO as long as they wont use animal, virus and bacteria dna. There was a time when Monsanto created gmo corn with e-coli dna, Its basically a herbicide immune corn. The E-coli dna make the whole village sick due to e-coli in air from the corn.There is also the cockroach dna oranges that is created so the orange won't be attacked by pest. The insects will think the orange is an insect instead of fruit because of the cockroach dna.

That's terrible. I feel like a modern war would be like that. Scientists will gmo a particular food, making it dangerous to consume and sell it to a particular place they have conflict with.

Its not cockroach shaped, It looks like a regular orange but it has cockroach dna so it wont smell yummy to insects and thinks its a fellow insect.
