Twitter confirmed on Thursday that an account of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been hacked with a series of tweets asking its followers to donate to the PM National Relief Fund through cryptocurrency. These tweets have been since taken down, and Twitter has said that steps have been taken to protect the compromised account. This hack follows series of hacks in July wherein personal accounts of some of Twitter's top voices including US presidential candidate Joe Biden, form US President Barack Obama and billionaire Elon Musk, were hacked and used for soliciting digital currency.

You are so right about that. The reach is huge! Twitter caught the kid who hacked the Twitter accounts of American politicians. Guess there are others out there like that kid.

So many famous people accounts on Twitter have been hacked recently. I wonder how safe is Twitter. They definitely need to tighten up their security.

I just saw an article about Twitter tightening its security, especially because US elections are taking place.

I wonder if the people managing the Twitter and other social media accounts of big people like Prime Ministers etc do not change passwords in between or hackers are more desperate to attack such people in position?
I hope that cyber security for Indian PM is enhanced much more.

I tell you what. @realDonaldTrump has not been hacked! Whatever his computer security folks are doing, other political leaders need to do the same.
