Quantum Computing and Quantum Supremacy

Postby sweerie_banana » 07 Jan 2021, 11:01

Quantum Computing can convert the globe. It could modify medical science, crack codes, transfigure connections, and Artificial Intelligence. Firms like Google, Microsoft, and IBM are competing to manufacture dependable quantum computers. China has invested billions and billions in this. Recently Google declared that it had attained quantum supremacy.

What is quantum computing and How does it work?
Anormal computer chip uses bits. Either represented by a zero or one. Rather than bits quantum computers use qubits.
Sometimes qubits are in a position of ON and OFF normally known as superposition. Superposition is similar to spinning a coin, making quantum computers superior.

Another thing qubits can do is entanglement. Meaning that you can shift data around, even if it holds uncertainty. And if you can twine simultaneously different qubits, you can get into grips with issues that could take our best computers billions of ages to fathom. Quantum computers let us do things that we wouldn't have dreamed of deprived of them. They have the capability to briskly hasten the evolution of Artificial Intelligence. Google is using them to improve the software of self-driven cars. They'll also be crucial for modeling chemical reactions.
That could mean more efficient products eg batteries in electric cars, Healthier and affordable drugs, or immensely upgraded solar panels.

Quantum computers will find use in predicting the financial markets, improving weather forecasts, molding the deportment of electrons. Cryptography will be another major implementation. And it could risk our data. There is tittle-tattle that intelligence bureaus across the globe are already accumulating infinite amounts of encrypted information in the hope that they'll have quantum computers to crack them up. We can only fight back with Quantum encryption which cannot be copied or hacked.

Quantum encryption will be possible hacked. Every system human made based on some pattern is possible hack. To break quantum encryption you will need quantum computer. Regular computer is not possible to do this. But with quantum computer it will be to easy to break all passwords on regular computer.

You will need a large and larger and largest quantum computer in order to be successful with the attack.

Quantum encryption breaking is a possibility, not a danger.

Like you need a large, large regular computer for breaking regular password. Especially if you will use brute force attack.

For everything possibility exist but how people will use it declare is it danger or not.

Possible but the anomalies can be detected which makes quantum security better than the classical hashed encrypted password. If the hacker knows the hash code then he or she can decrypt the hashed password and the user will not know that his or her password was cracked. However, when it comes to quantum computing, if a hacker did something with the user's password, the system can detect it and can alert the legitimate user.
