I discovered mcafee site advisor years ago. It's a free tool (add-on) for browsers (until now I tried it only into chrome, not sure if works elsewhere) that warns users about the potential danger of sites, even when they appear fair and legit after a search engine research. As I worked online into pay to research sites, compelled to several researches to be paid, I was in need of a web advisor and found this mcafee tool. Until today I'm satisfied, in spite of false-positives, that use to be mcafee's trademark.
