electric coffee makers

Postby Pousinha » 24 Jan 2021, 22:09

Here in Brazil we are addicted to coffee  Every moment of the day is good for coffee. A traditional way to prepare coffee is the classic kettle in the gas stove, but electric coffee makers here exist. My husband and I find the use of these latter a bit complicated, at least when it comes for cleaning them
Do you prefer electric coffee maker or traditional kettles?

Here we also love coffee, I prefer electric coffee maker with capsule, it is practical and quick. I think it is a little more expensive than the traditional way but as I only drink one coffee per day that is okay.

I have never liked coffee. It seems like everyone else is crazy about it, but I cannot stand the taste.

We don't have an electric coffee maker so we just use the traditional coffee maker. I usually consume 2-3 cups of coffee daily.

Is it difficult to wash it?

Here we consume the triple  . In any way, it's american coffee. I also consume enough corn coffee (it's a specific coffee, really made by corn, we have here in my area).

My friends, who are coffee lovers, prefer traditional kettles to brew their coffee because it can cook it well and make its taste more pungent unlike electric, it won't cook the grinded coffee beans well.

During my short stint in US for 4 weeks or so, I had an electric coffee. It was not so simple to use, so I preferred using a Kettle, or a Pan with handle.
And well, I am more of a Tea lover, and I have coffee for just perhaps once in a Month or once in 2 months.

I love tea too, but I'm coffee addict
I'm supposing that owning an electric coffee maker gives a more modern look to kitchens, but we find a kettle more practical and easier to use.

Definitely it gives a better look but one also needs something that does not makes things too difficult for us. In a not so easy to use machine, washing and cleaning also becomes tedious.

Would it be like living in England with a distaste for tea, by chance?

Not really, as a matter of fact it is quite easy to clean and the good thing is also very practical.
