First, we should understand this. This feature described will not be available in Windows 10 than in Windows 10X. It is not same OS. Windows 10X is OS made for dual screen devices like foldable smartphones. I already write here about 10X but I can't find link.

New feature will bring something new in Stand by option. Stand by option is great when you want to transfer computer or just make a break without turning off the computer. When you turn it on, everything just stopped.

Now Microsoft will adoption, even when the computer is in standby, some process can work like sync data. Example emails will sync with clients, OneDrive will sync files, the system will download updates. This can save time since in the current version, when you wake up computer you must wait for sync.

Maybe this look like something new and it is new but only on computers. On smartphones this option is already present for a long time and we can see it every day when our phone ring when message come on Viber or Messenger.

Now Microsoft wants that function on computers too.

Well, I was not aware about Windows 10X but may be it is what we call a special "Patch" over Windows 10 for certain Smartphone like capability(s).

No limitation. It will be present on all dual screen devices from Microsoft.

I am still using Windows 7, even my brand new PC is Windows 7. I think I should consider changing since 7 will stop having support.

Support for Windows 7 ended on January 14, 2020. Didn't you already get notification about going to WIN10 or even option for reinstall using Windows Update?

No limitation. It will be present on all dual screen devices from Microsoft.

This would be good for all Windows 10 systems.
