Yes well now youtube will charge creators 24 percent more tax. People were only making what a dollar per 1000 views? now it will be what some cents only? I am glad I left this sinking ship long ago. It is a big tax, now that tik tok was banned from the US they think they are the last cookie in the package. Everyone who helped YouTube grows and became what it is now will lose money.

a lot of people have been posting this that the tax will just end their channel? are they trying to crush small creators? i guess the huge channels can afford it. But this will be bad for smaller channels.

As I understand, taxable are views from US only and not the other countries. You have to comply the tax form and if not automatic 30% of the earnings worldwide.

Knowing for most authors it's really hard to earn as youtubers (it's not that easy to reach the goal of thousands daily visits to get discreetly payments by ads, to not talk about tens of thousands daily visits), I'm worring about the end of learning for free: due to 24% tax being too shameful, unaffordable, and surely will oblige lot of youtubers owning good content to close their channel

Many are leaving YouTube for that reason. 25% sounds insane. it is tough to get subscribers and viewerships and then earn from it. People slog to earn some money there and charging them so much as tax is not fair. I have seen people getting frustrated and leaving it. Unfortunately, there is not another platform as compettiive as YouTube.

Have you applied for partnership? How many subscribers do you have?

If you ever went to monetize youtube videos. Just embed them on vocal, and or embed them on blogger and put adsense ads around them. This is the way around the 1000 follows rule. There is always ways to get monetized without follows

I remember getting a notification from them a long time ago that I am eligible to earn and that means I have that partnership. Right? I have 79 subscriptions.
