These driverless shuttles are being trial at Cambridge University. This could be the future of transport. Vehicles with no drivers. You will type or click the destination where you will go. I am still not confident with these driverless vehicles. People from the past fantasizes about flying cars. They got invented but no country wanted to legalize it. Governments seemed to have more confidence with driverless vehicles.
Majority of deaths around the world are vehicular accidents.
WOW! That's progress! I am not confident with driverless vehicles on major highways. In fact I don't think they should ever be used on major highways. But within a contained area like a university or an airport, I'm OK with that.
Wow ! I watched the full video. The Technology indeed looks promising. Moreover, the trials are more ambitious and would be in mixed traffic and this could be put for public use quite faster.
I would love a driverless car but they won't arrive in my lifetime and even if they did I wouldn't be able to afford one. I think Tesla did trials but they are still not here yet even thought it was predicted they would arrive by 2020.
