Robot mops finally exist!

Postby Netherrealmer » 22 Jun 2021, 05:30

I hate mopping floors and this invention made me happy.

I want to buy one by the end of the year. I hate mopping floors and this one mops and vacuums your floor at the same time. I Just bought a ps5 so at this moment I cant afford buying this robot. I hate mopping and sweeping and this robot does both. It is expensive but I hate scrubbing floors. I will save some cash for this.

I think it's around $460 US, What will make it expensive for me would be the overseas shipping fee.

Thanks for your reply Netherrealmer, I had expected it to be more expensive. I wonder how much time it would take to manage it, e.g. moving it from room to room and helping it deal with obstacles such as different floor levels.

I saw this many years ago. Some my friends have it for few years and some lately. Depends when they went live alone.
This is 3 years old video.

In first models, those were bad. They could stuch between chair legs or corners, fall from staircases. You can see in this video what obstacles can cofuse sensors. But latest models have better ultrasonic sensors for detection objects and avoid them.

With the maid's help what is inevitable at the moment here is the loyal and faithful broom. It gets into nooks and corners and does the job and ofcourse dusting then follows. The maid earns but a Robot does not - the manufacturers of Robots earn.

Wow, that is awesome. That robot will surely make work so much easier. It is just bad that it is so expensive, it will take me a while to own that.

Just be careful in buying online and make sure it's not sentient. Haha
