This is really sad, many things are happening in this pandemic and many people are becoming victims to many of this scams.Am not sure if i may be a victim or have been a victim, but i have been receiving funny phone calls from different countries i don't know if that would be a red light.

It is difficult to find out until you see some strangers writing to you or calling you as those messages and calls initially could be from someone you know and that is how the software is created.

This is my first time learning about this. It is so sad when everything about a person gets exposed. Personally, I have not experienced anything suspicious on my phone.

This is very worrying although I found an article to say it is unlikely to affect ordinary citizens and I do class myself as very ordinary :)

You will never know until it is too late as messages are sent using IDs known to you.

The computers of Pakistani and Iraqi prime ministers also got their computers compromise. So is the President of France who is known for marrying his teacher that he met when he was 13.

If I have been a victim, I don't know anything about it.

The news in the USA is that Donald Trump used Pegasus to target his political enemies. That really pisses me off! The last thing this country needs is a repeat of the Nixon scandal. Didn't Trump review American history? NIXON GOT CAUGHT!!

As Technology progresses and the human mind degrades towards more and more immoral actions, we would see more such things.
Plus such things would be prevalent in countries like China, Russia and many more as well.
If somebody asks me "Are we safe?"
I would answer "Perhaps nobody- especially nobody among the common and even middle class folks".

More and more cans of worms are being exposed. It is shocking how politicians can resort to such a measure which costs in millions. And Israel takes the cake - minting money

None of us are safe in this technology advancement age. I was not sure if Pegasus spyware has any ordinary people as their victim. News have been making rounds about it being targeting politicians and journalist. But definitely no one can claim to be full proof of the scams and online spying.

It sure does. If politicians that rule the country are exposed and adversely targeted it will affect the citizens of that country in no uncertain terms

The adverse effects that the politicians will have will surely affect the citizens of that country
