The Pokemons will be CGI and the humans will be live action.They are not going to adapt the Anime and videogames because those characters are in a floating timeline so they don't age. Ash Ketchum has been 10 years old for 22 years. So it wont translate well for live action. We will have original characters instead and most likely the characters will be Americans. Pokemon characters live from a fictional Asian country. SO this live action will be more in the real world.

They will make stand alone original character for the series.

I heard about this a few days ago and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I love Pokemon, but I'm not so sure about a live action... I wonder if they will at least cast an Asian actor/actress?

I already said Ash will not be there because it will be stand alone. Using Ash for live action is complicated because he doesn't age.
