The Ultimate solution for teenage pregnancy?

Postby Netherrealmer » 02 Oct 2021, 11:44

Sex education does not work for teens. Teens still ends up having unsafe sex that leads to pregnancies and that pregnancy leads to the abortion debate. If a country wanted a population control. How about use this technology that already exist for decades. I am talking about IUD implants. IUD implant is a chip inserted to a woman's arm and it makes her unable to get pregnant. If she wants to get pregnant, she can have the chip removed.

Make IUD mandatory to all teenage girls. So we will not have teen moms anymore. Majority of abused children that became criminals came from teen moms. If teen girls cannot get pregnant, there will be no abused children, no abortion debate about teen pregnancy and no unwanted children in orphanages. Girls can have their implants removed by the time they reach the age 22. The only ones who can have exception will be lesbians.

Don't get me started! How many times do I have to tell people that I get to DECIDE what goes in my body?? As every human should have that right and freedom!!

A teenage girl should not be FORCED to have an IUD no more that she should be FORCED TO HAVE SEX! Which is RAPE by the way!

Why don't we FORCE teenage boys to have VASECTOMIES?!!
~ Or have some sort of birth control device stuck inside of them??

This is f****** ridiculous. Just reading something like this makes me angry. You are basically shifting the blame to girls. Well, guess what? A girl (woman) can only get pregnant once every 8-9 months and in 8-9 months, a man can impregnate every woman they have intercourse with. So if you're talking about violating human rights, how about making mandatory vasectomies on all boys until they are deemed mature and financially stable enough to be a father?

I'm trying to say this without being mean, but that's the stupidest thing I've read in a while

Vasectomy is irreversible but IUD can easily be removed.

Look up vasectomy reversal. Almost all vasectomies can be reversed.

This solution is kind of extreme don't you think so? just think about it, make somenthing like that mandatory could be really Dangerous, and lead also to an escalation of limitslof our freedom to choice. And this really bad, because if today is ok something like this, it means that tomorrow would be also good someting worst that could even affect you.
china is a good example of efficency, but the concept of freedom, is almost like non-existent.
Is it worth for you?
Want your country to be China Like ?

Actually I read a story about a man who impregnated his wife. He thought she had been unfaithful. It turns after he got a test, the doctor told him his tubes had sealed back together and he was quite capable of getting a woman pregant. But that is besides the point.

My POINT was about a person's HEALTH. You could say that the IUD can easily be removed. BUT ... you can't say if that person's health won't be adversely impacted.

You could say all the reports say the device is SAFE!!

If they want you to agree to something, do you think they will tell that's it's NOT SAFE??!!

I live in the USA and I am so sick and tired of hearing advertisements on TV by some law firm saying ... IF you had this done or this happened to you ... or whatever ... you're entitled to monetary damages.

What?!?! I don't want money! I want my health! Can you give it back to me?? If you can not give me back me my health then don't try to FORCE ME to accept a medical procedure or treatment AND don't try to FORCE my child either!!

You don't have children yet ... but if you did ... and you had to make critical decisions regarding their health ... _______. You're the parent responsible for their health and well being, then you fill in the blank and hope you're not wrong. But if somebody else made that decision and they are wrong? I am not sure who will be able to save them from your wrath!

I don't think IUDs should be mandatory but I think it's perfectly acceptable for a teen to choose such a method of contraception rather than become pregnant. My granddaughter has been seeing her boyfriend for more than a year, she is almost 15 and he is 16. We have talked about sex and contraception and she is soon to have the implant. I would rather that than have her go through an unwanted pregnancy or an abortion. I think she is being mature about it and I'm glad we can talk about it.

The word I am objecting is MANDATORY. I believe in human intelligence and humanity. I truly think that the majority of people are quite capable of making decisions concerning their own health and most parents (and grandparents) want to make the best decisions for a child's health and their future. Forcing people to do things usually always results in anger, resentment, rebellion, ... it generates a lot of bad feelings. And rightfully so. People everywhere have a right to be free and make their own life choices.

True. They don't have to worry about getting pregnant and they can run away from their responsibility if they found out they become a father.

I feel the same way, we hould trust more human intelligence, and find other way to solve the problem..

My mom used iud for many years but it was implanted in her womb. She did not remove it because of the cost. Yes, she did not get pregnant after the birth of my brother.
