Echo and or Alexa

Postby bestwriter » 03 Oct 2021, 02:11

These devices Alex and/or Echo are now established and no one talks about them. They are for sale and many I know have bought them.

The question is whether getting them to switch on the music, switching off or on the lights,.......... is a good idea. Will it not make us lazy?

That purpose is to assist senior citizens and people who are differently able.

I got an Alexa as a gift and she doesn't fully understand my accent and diction unless I try to sound American.

Then it is a flop. It is supposed to be for international use.

Yeah people with call center training are the only foreigners who can use it properly in English.

This is funny, when i read it at first i thought they were real people   but i understand it now, actually i believe they are meant to assist those who are incapacitated in one way or another. Interesting that someone would bring you such a gift @Netherealmer.

I had an Echo but quickly got bored with it. At the moment it is sitting in my window gathering dust. I gave it to my granddaughter at one point but she said it was listening in on her conversations! I wonder what she was talking about

Many people are buying these.
Some out of curiousity.
Some thinking of these as Status symbol.
And yes, most people would get lazier with these.
For switching off lights or fans in different rooms, one at least gets to walk.
However, now many would tend to get lazier and this is definitely not good for health.

It's useful and I have got that from Amazon is quite useful because many times I feel lazy to get up and do simple things like switch on the lights or off so this does help and is not very expensive too
