Honesty

Postby Spontaneo » 16 Jan 2022, 23:20

Finally an honest seller.

A few weeks ago, I bought an item online. I received an email last Monday stating the item had been delivered. However, the item was nowhere to be found. I asked friends if they had seen a box but the friends had not seen either.

Now the date is Sunday. I was tired of waiting.

So, I finally contacted the seller. Within 15 to 20 minutes, my money was refunded!

Have you ever bought an item online and never receive the item? Have you ever been refunded? What about the opposite?

I am thankful the seller was honest. The seller was not obnoxious or demanding.

Yes, whenever my items don't arrive by a certain time they've always given me the option of either a refund or replacement. They've been good with this thus far, no hassle. The mail/delivery system is not always reliable and I guess they understand. Besides they have a reputation to maintain. If they get rough with me, it will be revealed in my review of them.🙂 But no, I've never had to report bad about them. And when something extraordinary (as in this case) happens, I always give them a good rating and share the experience for others to see.

Glad you had a good experience with your seller and got your money back.

One of my biggest problem with sellers, is when they seduce you with cheap price only to realize the shipping is expensive.

 I always look out for this too. Whenever you see something too cheap, just check the shipping price before you hit buy. Some sellers are tricky, yes.

eBay often has free shipping, which is why I like them. Other favorite websites of mine have one set shipping amount no matter how much the item costs or how heavy the item.

I had encountered this problem several times, ,the seller never refund my money because someone had signed received but i did not receive the item. It was fraud.

Only once, but my credit card was charged over $200 for a product I never ordered and the post office claimed it was delivered to my locked mailbox according to the vendor. As I recall it was after I accepted a free gift and paid the shippimg with my credit card. I don't accept free gifts online any more.

I know how you feel. About a year ago, I bought 3 pairs of blue jeans online from a company called Woman Within for $99.00. This was an ongoing war between me, my bank and myself. I finally called the order phooey and learned to be more careful of my purchases. My roommate has ordered from such company in the past with no problems. My luck.

Who doesn't love honesty! Just today, I didn't receive two of my items ordered through online. But, I'm happy that I got refunded. Customer centric companies builds trust and loyalty which only helps them grow their business more.

It was so kind of them to refund you. Nowadays it's so hard to meet honest people. Such a case has never happened to me, thank God!.

I have always liked eBay, but items have not been arriving and way too much.
