Your Opinion On Tablets?

Postby Spontaneo » 09 Mar 2022, 16:40

My laptops have been crashing. All of my work is online. I cannot use my cellular phone for work.

It is not that I cannot afford a new one. However, I have a trip planned in April. The deposit and reservation are already made. So, I need money for spending on this trip.

I am curious about tablets to purchase in predicaments like these. Are tablets easy to use? Are they good for online work?

I would love to know your opinion.

Thank you!

I have used them all and for your travels it's hard to beat a netbook. A little smaller and more compact than a laptop, but with a full keyboard (not on screen) and touch pad to be more familiar to full size computer users.

Since age is no longer creeping up on me, but rushing in like an NFL ball carrier on 4th down from the 1 yard line. it's very simple.

Thank you so much! I definitely need a keyboard and touchpad. For me, difficult to type without.

Are they good for writers to perform their work?

So, I need to search "netbooks"? Any certain brand?

Thanks again!

My Netbook is a Dell Inspiron I purchased several years ago and I have had ZERO problems with performing any work I ask of it. The screen folds all the way back, so I can use it as a tablet when I want to.

I sent you a message with a few more questions. I hope that you do not mind. You might have solved my predicament.

When my laptop's HDD crashed, I relied on my tablet and phone for my writing and even graphics using Medibang Paint. If you are into writing though, a tablet or phone will be more convenient if you have a Bluetooth keyboard and a Bluetooth mouse is a great help as well. I use both whenever I use my tablet.

I'm even planning to buy a new 10 inch or 11 inch tablet. It's more convenient to carry around than a laptop.

I don't mind at all, helping others is what makes the world go around (in my opinion)

My landlord is taking all 3 of my laptops to a repair shop next week. He just offered this morning! He said that they are very reasonable.

My landlord is such a blessing. Once, a Keurig I had had broke... another one was delivered same day.

We have been having a Lenovo tab. Initially it was fine to use but its main problem has been with its charging port and a few more things which have needed some replacements.
I now prefer good smartphones to Tablets.
But yes, as an additional backup, you can have 1 Tablet.
