Bluestacks Android Emulator

Postby Katrina » 26 May 2022, 11:26

I use Bluestacks Android Emulator on my laptop to save my battery life on my phone. It also enables me to see a large screen to play my games. I think there are other emulators that are similar out there, but I don't know their names.

Does anyone else use Bluestacks? Today I came across a problem where my games weren't listed in My Games. I have no idea why they disappeared and am wondering if anyone else has the same problem?

Bluestack is not bad but it is not to realiabe. It was great while many people didn't have smartphones with Android so they could emulate Android on Windows - games or develop apps.
Now days it still have similar purpose but it is rarely used. Many app developers don't like when people use emulators instead of real Android OS, so they block access from emulators.
Also I think you must save in emulator latest version, othervise everytime when you start it you must set everything again.

I used Android emulator before to test shady Apk files or even apps from the Play Store when there was not much restrictions imposed in it. But since my pc went kaputt once, and I reinstalled Windows and softwares, I wasn't keen about about Bluestacks anymore

Bluestacks is set to update automatically for me, so I know I have the latest working version. I can even keep playing games while it updates which is really cool.

Why are developers blocking emulators?

Many advertisers don't pay for views from emulator. Also sometimes apps run on OS as it should but not so good on emulators. In this case, app can get bad review.
