Do you remember Friendster?

Postby MattTolentino02 » 16 Jun 2022, 08:20

When I was in high school, everybody seemed to have a Friendster account! Do you have any fond memories using Friendster?

I remember Trump's reality Show, The Apprentice automatically creates friendster accounts for all contestants.

Wow yes Frienster .. I think this site was way before even myspace and facebook. I think it as the first big social media back then. But then myspace became the most popular. Believe it or not myspace was bigger than facebook at one time!

Yes, Friendster is generally viewed as the biggest social media platform back then. What do you think contributed to the downfall of Friendster?

Really? WHY??
I had a Friendster account. I only created because at that time, I was trying every social media platform I could find. As long as it was free to create an account, I'd sign up! :D

I was at school when Friendster came out, and a pupil who doesn't have a Friendster account is automatically categorized as extremelyyy weird! :D

OK. That makes sense. Because when Donald Trump makes a financial decision, he just wants the money. He doesn't care where he's getting it from and who else does NOT profit from his decision.

If those IDIOTS who ransacked our nation's Capitol had realized that in the background, Trump was collecting millions of dollars in "political donations" and that was his REAL GOAL ... maybe they would have thought twice about sponsoring his avarice with their terrorism. Do they even know where that money went? You can bet it's not going to pay their legal fees after they were stupid enough to get themselves arrested.

(Oops! I let my political dragon loose! Sorry.)

I have never heard of it before. Probably the app rose to its fame long long ago before I existed. I had known Facebook as I grew up.

It is not an app, it was a website, It was the facebook before Facebook, facebook dominated when they added games.

If I can compare Friendster to an actor, Its like Kristen Steward during her Twilight Era. If I can compare Myspace to an Actor its Leonardo DiCaprio before Revenant.
