Samsung has been teasing us about foldable smartphones and tablets since 2011 but it took them eternity to make it mass producible.

They are now launching foldable smart phones! They had been promising it since 2011 but it took them forever to make it more cheaper since the prototype was too expensive.

This looks better than motorola series. However, big smartphones and tablets are inconvient to carry, cannot even fit into the pocket.

Samsung and Xiaomi are two only serious players on foldable smarphones and tablets market. I don't know why others are not in game yet. Maybe development cost to much. Current prices of foldable phones are just for those with deep pocket.

Yes not doubt this phone is very convenient to be use but it's far expensive in where I live now before you can buy a portable folding device you need to budget for it dude

I prefer flat-screen phone. It takes some seconds to operate a foldable phone. But if it reaches my country and it looks so nice and works fast, then I may buy it. I had a foldable phone in the past years, Mooroal brand it was colored gold and loved it.It was so cute

Samsung galaxy fold has magnets in the edges that allow it to stay folded. In this way, the absence of a folding mechanism was solved. But magnets from the edge sometimes attract metal objects from close proximity, such as keys. Magnets can also affect cards with a RIFD chip, although there are no reports of such situations so far.

I have a hunch that a foldable tablet would be prone to frequent breakdowns. Given that such gadget would have multiple moving parts, any of these is likely to be faulty at any one time.

My preference is thus the conventional, nonfoldable tablets.

If all parts are good it should not be problem. Samsung have very good products as Xiaomi. Currently two best manufacturers in this niche.
Only problem in hardwer is dirt on inside edge. It can affect screen right on middle. It reminds me on bug in ENIAC.

Just in part of options like social media or communication. Camera is better on phones but try work in Photoshop on smartphone or edit Word documents (I don't think just correct few errors).
