Flip Phones

Postby Spontaneo » 02 Sep 2022, 23:36

I recently ordered a new cellular phone. On the Simple Mobile website the phone looked nice, small and seemed to have everything. Atleast I thought.

I received the phone a few days ago.

Oh gosh.

After a roommate showed me how to work the darn contraption, there seemed to be no apps or website access.

So, I looked at the instructions. No apps or websites.

My roommate made fun as the model is an Alcatel flip phone. How did I know how bad the flip phone would be?

I guess to wait a while until buying a better cellular phone. I do not want to go through the hassle of returning the phone, manually entering every telephone number, etc.

Do you own a flip phone?

I had a nokia hello kitty one when I was in elementary. My aunt sent me as a gift. It was so cute and works well. I also owned a black alcatel once but it broke.

I previously owned a Samsung basic flip phone. In fact, I enjoy using it because of how simple it is. During my medical mission a decade ago, it makes my life not complicated.

I now have an AT &T cellular phone! Yay! However, I had to have a girl young enough to be my daughter to activate the cellular phone! The darn contraption would not activate for me but for her activated in minutes!

I had it before but now flip phones are replaced with foldable phones. Those are not to present at market yet because of price but in a year or two standard smartphones will be old tech.

I think your flip phone was better than the brick phone I had years ago. I needed a wheelbarrow to carry it around, but felt safer at night since I could use it for a club.

Working on a New Side-Hustle

Since age is no longer creeping up on me, but rushing in like an NFL ball carrier on 4th down from the 1 yard line. it's very simple.

I've had flip, slide, blackberry, and now a touch screen. It seems samsung is trying to go back to flip phones with their newer models too, I prefer my S9 honestly but that's because it was the first phone I bought with my own money.
