Working on a New Side-Hustle

Since age is no longer creeping up on me, but rushing in like an NFL ball carrier on 4th down from the 1 yard line. it's very simple.

First comet is down! Give us next target!

If this is sucessful, we can say we have first planetary defence at least for slower objects in history.

I know so my correction: First come is removed from his path! We push it!

Still for me this is history move. Many people say it was to small and to slow for test. I think it was great and scientific good method. We always work on smaller stuff and later make it bigger.

I still think that throwing a Dart to hit a target that takes 10 months to reach at 140,000 MPH and hitting it dead center is amazing.

2022 AP7 is name of big asteroid who was hidden in Sun glare and it is dangerous for Earth. It is 1.5km wide and his path could bring it in collision with Earth but it is not sure yet when.

Can this be new target for DART?

I've just read about this on The Guardian. It is quite frightening to read about such a large asteroid coming into the earth's orbit. Thankfully we are unlikely to collide at least for a few centuries. When I read about something like the 2022 AP7, it makes me feel that the money spent on the DART, may have been money well spent.
