I am not sure what you mean. Most people I know use Facebook to talk to their friends, family and co workers. However I saw a Top 25 video on Youtube yesterday that mentioned (I forget the percent) But a huge percent of divorce files had the word "Facebook". Which goes to show not all people are faithful who use it. Someone I use to work with cheated on their spouse with someone they met on Facebook.

Facebook has everything to be fun, but can also be very dangerous especially for children, today there is complete control over the children and they falsify old to create the page.

Facebook is getting dangerous especially for children and teenagers. There were cases here where some high school/college students were raped because of the strangers they've met on Facebook. So you have to be extra careful. Better be safe than sorry.

I love Facebook and I love connecting people. I PM or chat only those real people whom I already met personally. Privacy and security is the most important because it's really hard to find the real one.

I am not sure about this, as I am not an active member of Face Book though I have got an account there! But I have seen in some crime serials based on the facts that are aired on TV, that such affairs have occurred in the past that lead to some crimes in India! :( :(

I don't think love is possible on Facebook. What people post in Facebook is not usually what they are in real life. True love is where you know someone well, both their beautiful and ugly sides, Facebook only shows the beautiful side mostly.

Love on facebook is really a romantic concept but I don't know how many Facebook users are truly successful finding true love on FB. I have a few friends who have had very bad experiences on FB due to fake profiles created by some people. So I guess it must be good for some bit i prefer to stay away

In my opinion, it's damn rare and hard. Nowadays knowing and understanding people is so hard even if you meet them personally face to face. Then I can't imagine how pathetic it will be through online. I never experienced such things and don't even want to experience. I have heard from some people that they found their love on Facebook. But I think it's very very rare. I don't think it's safe online to find love.

creativeimran wrote:is true love possible in facebook friends.... share your views and experiences

@creativeimran is banned, but their discussion's still here and I'm probably commenting on it :lolno: weird.

Anyway ... I doubt it. I thought I had it when I was younger (it's one of those things that are "real because you believe they're real"---like 'monsters in the dark' or 'Schroedinger's Cat, sometimes :geek: ); but it was either some no-name hacker scamming me for money-information, or my false hope that one of my 'dame in shining armor'

But humans are addicted ... Huey Lewis fans would say we're 'Addicted to Love,' but the addiction we're feeding is more like an addiction to dopamine (the 'good job!' brain-chemical) or to--Adam "Adam Ruins Everything" Conover tells us about it--Limerence---infatuation, the state of mind which results from a romantic attraction to another person typically including compulsive thoughts and fantasies and a desire to form or maintain a relationship and have one's feelings reciprocated.
