Normally, when a video from your playlist gets deleted or marked private on YouTube, you could select the option "show unavailable videos" inside the playlist and still find the video with the label "deleted video" or "private video".

But sometimes, this message is displayed inside the playlist:
"One or more videos have been removed from the playlist because they were deleted from YouTube."
You don't even know what was removed. Not nice.

Has this ever happened to you?

I have not experienced or noticed it, not until you shared it here. As for me, it is not a good thing if they did not indicate which one was deleted. I guess they need to add this feature to inform the viewers or the YouTubers about the deletion of videos.

This is a reminder that YouTube is a Social Website---that is, it's not 'a broadcasting station' or 'a publishing house' or 'a publication.'

It's a virtual 'hangout' (like a bar or the park or (from before even my time) the soda-shoppe), and the videos you save in your list are like 'friends whom you expect to meet there'---you go there, find out they didn't make it there, and go and have fun with whoever IS there instead

Unfortunately, this is an issue on YouTube's end, it is not something fixable by regular users.
I know I'm not the only one who experienced it, there have been reports in the past.
I have a feeling that these reports fall on deaf ears.

I have had it happen and even had whole Channels deleted that I posted make money online videos on. If I do any more videos they will go on Vimeo.

Users' issues management seems to be a weak point of Instagram as well as YouTube.
It is sad that Million or Billion Dollars earning companies pay least regard for resolving users' issues or is it that they have spread too too far?

The bigger these companies get, the more disengaged with users they seem to become.

Yeah and it's a pain. I wish they'd a list keep the title visible so I could know what it was about, I never seem to remember. Maybe the creator posted it somewhere else and I could look it up if I had the title.

It may not be entirely a case of being disengaged from users.
Youtube is a platform with hundreds of millions of daily users. Naturally, it is tasking to handle the content that these many users post and engage with on a daily basis.
I am however sure that the tech giant will address these hitches in due course.

I have seen this on some channels and I just felt the owner of the channel doesn't want those particular video's for public view.

This is not a good thing that the YouTube site is doing for the content creators. It has happened to many people that I know.
