There is a new website out there and or app. It is called Threads. When you look it up, it is called threads an instagram app. I just signed up for it so I don't know much about it. I do know the owner of facebook and instagram is the owner of this app. Also when you sign up for it, it lets you bring your instagram friends with you. They just have to accept you as a friend. I had 6 so far.

Do you know when you log in Threads with Instagram account and later you decide deleted Threads account you will lose both, Thread and Instagram account?

I thought about joining but haven't just yet. I wish it had a web version. I'm not big on apps such as IG for that reason. So maybe I won't join, after all. Or if I do, the account will be as neglected as my IG account

From the little update i saw on Twitter, most users on Twitter who are also on threads, have expressed their displeasure about the app. Claiming it is not as fun and interesting as twitter.

Yes I downloaded the app and connected with instagram. Then all of my instagram friends who want to join could join and already have me on their friend list. I have 7 so far

I think I would stick with Twitter and occasionally FB.
I tried Tumblr too in between but looks like I am not comfortable with too many sites usage.

A local TV channel recently reported that Elon Musk has stated that Twitter has lost about 10% of its ad revenue.
In that case, I guess that Threads will cause a significant dent on Twitter.

Musk is to blame for the declining trend of Twitter.

Because of EU regulations Threads is not available in European Union. Looks it will not be available until 2024.

Threads keeps on falling off the radar every passing week. It seems it didn't strategize well before launching out.

It's been so long since I use Twitter but back then I do use it for promotion thou I don't usually get lead or traffic to my landing page so I switched to Facebook
