Whenever a middle age or elderly celebrity's name trend on twitter or X as it is called now, I feel nervous because it means 2 things, its either this person is dead pr this person got canceled. Then I get relieved that its just their Birthday or they have a new project. Most of the whenever it happens they are either dead or canceled. Everytime I see a celebrity who is over 40 plus trends on twitter its always either death or they say or did something so offensive.

Here is the probable reason when someone over 40 trends on Twitter/X

1.Death
2.Cancel cultured
3.Divorce/break up
4.Birthday
5. Have a new project like movie or album

Well, celebrities always live in public eyes and they make news for every small things. Even their simple day to day affairs make news. And I think even some of their statements can go viral. Media can twist it or interpret it in a way suited to make headlines in their favour.

I am not over 40 yet but I prefere more X than Instagram or TikTok. Why? I think older generations like more read than just take million selfies or videos per day. We like type more than make photos.

I do not follow newsmakers on X, however, I follow news. Even though I am not interested in celebrity news, I do get exposed to the news frequently. YOu seem to have keen ideas. I never though about why a middle-aged celebrity would go trending.

Politicans are much often active on X. Does it stay same with younger generations of politicans?

Some of them just do some crazy publicity stunts to trend. Some would post provocative pictures of themselves and they would trend.

I choose twiter/X since less kids is there. Also all my nephwes choose other networks since I am not there and their parents. I want normal conversation without millions of emojis and followers.
