Most of people are suffering from black screen on their computers and they don't know how to fix it here is the simplest way to fix that problem in your house:
1- remove battery
2- take off Ram
3- remove CPU
4- remove CMOS battery
then press power button about 1min to discharge mother from electricity.
then Assembled again and 80% will be fixed

change ram,or open it and pres on grafic card hard on with finger to see if opens,i had this problem and it was grafic card,when i press over it it opens,very weird!

Doesn't make sense. If your PC is new you should contact your laptops manufacturer, if you are experiencing those black screens. IMO, it also is related to the beeps you hear when having these black screens.

I've got a question: would your method solve a black screen problem emanating from prated OS?
Also, would this method work for a laptop?

I wouldn't know where or how to open the CPU or the RAM or CMOS battery. This is beyond my capacity of knowledge and I might kill my laptop in the process. I probably would just take it to the shop and have them look at it since they know what to do.

this is a little much for someone that doesnt have the tools to get inside there machine. if you get the black screen then a memory dump i would try to use a restore point to when it was working better. look in the event viewer to see what happened . the last resort is go to bleeping computer.com for help, take it to a repair shop or search on google for answers. the thing about computer problems is rarely is it something new that has never happened before

Would this method work if the cause of black screen is pirated software?

My screen is out for a long time now, I replaced it with a new one but still it starts flickering after a while, now I've attached another screen with my laptop and use only that.
Do you know what can cause that flickering? When the screen is on for like more than an hour, some colorful lines appear at the bottom and then the screen starts to flicker...

Sometimes, you need to restart the laptop for you to use it again.
