Ai ruins google image search

Postby Netherrealmer » 10 Oct 2024, 03:45

On this search result, None is authentic picture of a baby peacock.

I see a lot of elderly people on facebook on awe how cute baby peacocks are. Baby Peacocks doesnt look majestic like these ai created results.

Real baby peacocks looks like baby chickens. They are not colorful

Also they are not called baby peacocks, they are called peachicks. Damn Ai just dumb down baby boomers too. I thought only Gen Alpha gets dumb.

In itself, it is not the AI, it is the same people who upload the images, if the people did not upload it you would only come across real images, it is also because they are stock images, the stock images are sold by videographers to those companies , but nowadays since they allow images with AI you can sell images created with AI to all those companies, they will pay you the same way, I think the most logical solution today for you to look for real images of something is to post "real images" or "real image" along with what you want to search for, this way you should not see any images created with AI

I agree. Searching with specific words like "real images" can help users find what they're actually looking for.

I had no idea baby peacocks were so adorable. I've never seen a baby peacock! How silly of me not to realize they were not born plumed like that.

I think search engines should add new filter in settings like Exclude A.I generated images.

It's a thought. I'm not sure it's so easy to program though.

I’ve noticed results feel less accurate too. I usually tweak the search terms or use more filters to get closer to what I want. Sometimes adding the image size helps a lot.

Using filters really helps. I've started doing the same. I haven’t tried adjusting the image size yet.

How could you arrive at this decision?

Look at these results. There's no way this is real. And remember, I'm a farmer, so I know what baby birds look like, particularly poultry birds. And peacock is a poultry bird.
