I recently bought 2 YsxLite wifi cameras for my home security. I successfully fixed them in my favorite positions and also installed their software on my phone. When I use the camera's own WiFi, it works perfect for as long as I am in the camera WiFi range. But when I try to switch to my home network so I can access the camera from anywhere, the camera will black-out and request for a restart. A first I thought the camera has died but using the reset button made it work again. And every attempt to switch home WiFi makes it repeat the same option. Do you think I am doing anything wrong or its the camera malfunctioning?

What WiFi network are the cameras connecting to? Is there more than one WiFi network in your home?

There is only a single WiFi network that I attempt to connecting to with it's password entered. The rest are have their passwords not known. When the camera successfully connects it stops working and will make a big tone thus prompting a reset.

Maybe try contacting the manufacturer's support line to see if they can help, or perhaps the retailer where you bought the cameras can offer some advice on the issue.

Cheap things are always expensive. Looks like the WiFi device I am using isn't supported according to the manual. I am looking at a low end WiFi device and give it a try. However this is my own assumption and I still need more advice.
