Easiest language to learn

Postby Coinlv » 17 Jul 2015, 10:08

Learning to program is not easy for everyone, it requires a logical mind and good problem solving skills. Which language do you consider to be the easiest language to start learning... Java, C, html?

I think the simplest would be something OOP like Java or .net. Since the functions are built in and you just need to type a dot to view the other functions. It is easy to make a simple line of code with these. Unlike other programming language like C or html that requires you to know the code to be able to use it. Although there are lots of online references available so in any case, you can simply Google it and you will know what code to use.

I would have to agree this is not for everyone. I am one of those who would suck at learning how to make a program

I think Java is the easiest language to learn. This is because it is applied in many applications and it is widely used. You can also find many online Java tutorials.

Lol they are talking about programming. Anyway, I have not tried programming before. I have taken a simple course about visual basic. It was so confusing without the main software that they use to program the codes.

The simplest to learn is probably Python. It's pretty simplistic.

Of all the programming languages that I had used, I'd say the easiest is COBOL, but that's for mainframe programming. For the small computer, it is HTML (if this is considered a language).

Suppose I dedicate two hours/day to learning JAVA, how long would it take for me to master the requisite skills. Assume I have a decent programming background.
