Some phones doesn't last a day if you will continuously use it. My phone doesn't last long if I use the 3G so I try to avoid turning it on if it's not necessary. How about you? What do you do to extend the battery life of your phone if you are outside the house and you didn't bring your charger?

I also turn off my 3G and avoid playing too much games. Also check if your phone has location services, bluetooth turned on. Phones will keep on trying to search for devices so that drains battery pretty quickly, too.

Well, You can't extend battery life but you can do something so that your battery don't go off quickly

Just don't try to charge it 3 or 4th once a day :/
And Try to charge once daily. This might help you to save your battery from getting dead

I think that there was a thing if you freeze it, than unfreeze it in a microwave, but I'm not sure if that was to revive a dead battery or extends it life. Either way, DON'T try it, teh internetz iz all trollz todai.

Since my smart phone is used only for internet - I have an old phone for texting and calls - I shut down the smart phone when not in use. That way, I could save on the battery. Although lately it's no big deal anymore because I already have the power bank.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 which needs charging once a day, probably because of some of the things I do on it. I occasionally run Apptrailers which is an online video and game service which pays you. It does use a lot of battery though. The worst phone I had for battery drain was my Blackberry. It was always conking out on me.

Some phones have a battery saver mode. I had a Nokia Lumia which did. You would need to go into your phone's settings to see if you have this on yours.

I have a colore samsung phone. It is an old phone but the battery can be used up to 3 to 4 days. I do not use the internet. And using the phone only for texting and calling makes the long battery use.

I have an ipad which I use in connecting online but if I am not using it or I am playing games, sometimes put it into airplane mode. less gaming and less connecting to internet will preserve the battery.

I will keep it on all the day, but i will check on and on my battery charging and if it need i will charge and never keep for charging the battery in the night time and sleep, i just keep it for one or one half hours time and that's it, do you know if you keep your cell for longer time then it will not work properly'

To extend photo battery life I will remove the battery and sim cards once in week for 6 hours in the night and once again I will insert sim cards and battery to the phone to get long life.

My easily get drain when I'm using my mobile data, I used to charge it every time, what I deed to make it last I turn off my mobile data and connect to a wifi, I noticed it last more longer.

- Reduce brightness.
- Remove animated backgrounds or too colorful ones.
- Disconnect wifi when not needed.
- Remove any undeeded apps.
- Disable animations (like from transition between screens)
