We lived in this world for so many years without these social networking sites so I don't think it's impossible to go back to old times. Our future generation will have a Vetter life if not for these sites. But yea limited usage of it helps in expanding our network where we get to meet and talk to new people globally but without these sites also we will be able to expand our network may be within our region if not globally always. It's left to the individuals decision anyways.

If it were forced upon us, we'd cope somehow. However, even though I don't use Facebook or any other social media platforms ALL the time, i'd rather not be without them. Sure, we did ok without them before, but I'd hate not to have them. It was easier for us to cope without them before because you can't miss something you've never had.

Yes I can imagine . Before Facebook there was IRC and a lot of Chat programs. By that time the internet was just black and white, no banners, no ads, no pictures, just text. Basic programs that were fun to use ehehe . Facebook is nice but it won't last forever, I know a lot of people who got tired of Facebook and deleted their accounts, some got tired of it, some just got problems with their partners. There is a world out there without Facebook!

Honestly, I miss the times of gold old fashioned face to face communication; or even home telephone communication. Facebook, cell phones and all the rest are great; but they are so intrusive in our day to day lives and sometimes they do get annoying. I'd like to have a conversation with someone without them checking their cell phone to see what the latest gossip is on social media.

i could imagine it. when i was younger we didn't have all the luxuries of social media, instead, we played outside in the summer, played in the snow in the winter, we actually went to the beach to swim and not just to take selfies. I use a lot of social media now just because i have family in 2 other countries and its easy to communicate and also for my business and my sister's

The internet made it free to communicate with people who are miles or continents away. We do not have facetime or skype when my dad was working in another country. I remember my mom feeling sad when faced with problems and couldn't talk to my dad instantly. The technology that we have now makes communication easy and quick I couldn't imagine life without it.

Yes i can imagine the world without facebook or other social networking sites, but i can't image that without google we can't stand means without search engines.

As we all know that now the world is so fast and every day more and more communication software and site are coming which bring the people very close but we all know that as long as the world become modern the face to face chatting and the group discussing is close for the world which is very bad thing

You young people really make me laugh sometimes. The social media is just a recent tradition and some people, including me, are now starting to wean themselves away from social media in realization that it is just a waste of precious time.

Truthfully I can't imagine not using Facebook now. I using it so much, as a way to keep memories of my life and kids, a way to entertain myself, a way to sell items, and a way to ask questions that I don't feel I could ask other places.

Now a days we are addicts to the social media, so Face book is the best social media to share every thing with new persons or friends is good platform. I can still live but for sure I will be longing that I have the site again. I will be missing some of my updates and my friends there. Life would not be normal at first, but I will get used to it too. I will find ways to replace those sites.

my opinion is that when you never used it, you will never miss it... but when you have already had a taste of the technology, you simply can't live it... when i didn't had an android phone, i was okay with my simple java-based cellphone... but when my first android device broke and i had to temporary return to my old java-based phone, i couldn't stand it! The world will still survive without the socia media.When i was young,i only knew about the existence of computers.We used to hang out and go to social gatherings.Social places like discos and sports were the order of the day.Social media killed all the good things we new and brought up the unseen world.The world will became even better since physical company is the best one can get.For now,i think we cannot go back,we could be heading for something we do not know.
