I got a laugh with the title. Entertainment is part of man's nature that's why the ways of entertainment is almost endless. Part of it are games, be it parlor games, board games or computer games. No, it is not childish to play. Actually playing is good for the adult mind.

Exactly. Many games out there can exercise our brains, which helps to stave off things like Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. It helps with problem solving skills. I actually took a college course that *required* us to play the video game Portal!

Are we talking computer games? Many adults like computer games and if you have kids it's something you can both do. That applies to all sorts of games. I spent many happy times with my parents playing cards or scrabble. Games can be played on your own or with other people ,, I think it's a good thing.

I don't think so unless you are playing a game that is appropriate for your age. There are games that doesn't challenge adults so it is just a waste of time. I think playing games allow adults to have a sharp mind and gives them time to be creative.
