Do you like Lollipop (Android)?

Postby Mihailo » 29 Aug 2015, 20:02

Google has released Lollipop long time ago. Now most companies are upgradig their phones to Lollipop 5/5.1/5.1.1.

What do you think about it?

I like the new animations, colors and features.

I never heard of Lollipop nor Jellybean, cause I don't have a smartphone. They sound super cute though. :)

I have a tablet only and I have no idea if I have those or something else. I know I should find out but I guess I'll have to look it up with the papers I came with. How else does one find out?

Currently my phone still runs kitkat but it should get the upgrade in a few months. I've seen it running on other phones and it is a major upgrade on the interface and performance. I love project Volta, with lollipop your Android should be able to predict how much time the battery has before it runs out. The recent applications menu is much better, having now a similar look to tabs in chrome. It also supports having the main launcher running at 60 fps (before it was capped at 30) so it looks much smoother.
Even although my phone will probably not receive the update, I'm really looking forward to Android marshmallow.

my older phone came with jellybean, then was upgraded to kitkat, and now my current phone is running Lollipop, i do like it... have no problems with it... love the animations and everything they changed... even the white appdrawer backgroud that at least in my country everyone seems to hate >.< and i'm pretty ancious to see what cool new things they will put in the upcomming Android Marshmallow.

you can see it by going on you Settings, scroll aaall the way down and select the last option "About Phone" or something like that, then you will see "Android Version" and a number

if it says 4.0 you got Android Ice Cream Sandwich
if it says 4.1/4.2/4.3 you got Android Jelly Bean
if it says 4.4 you got Android KitKat
if it says 5.0 or higher, you got Android Lollipop

hope i helped ^^

I don't have a device or gadget with Android Lollipop. However, if I am going to purchase a new one, then it would be Android Lollipop or iOS.
