Which android phone you have? & which should you buy?

Postby jangobhai28 » 31 Aug 2015, 17:36

Only interested in Android smartphones? If so, My best Android phone round-up has all the top handsets all in one place. Your next mobile is on this list.

My current favourites are the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, but they also happen to be the most expensive phones in the round-up. You’ll be pleased to hear that the cheapest is available for just £100 SIM-free and around £10 a month on a contract, so you don't have to spend ludicrous amounts if you don’t want to.

New to the best Android smartphones round-up are the Moto X Play and OnePlus 2. Both are 5.5-inch handsets that offer outstanding value for money. The Oneplus is an incredible all-round package that runs a special version of Android and is capable of competing with the £500-plus big boys on the market. The X Play, meanwhile, features monster battery life and a high-quality 21-megapixel main camera.

I don't have one but I'd probably do well with the 'best' kinds because if they take photos I can always try to get paid for them to pay for the phone etc. I would have to know more though on them of course.

Don't worry, Anne, when I buy a new phone, I would give my old one to you so you would have an Android M phone. Just remember that the M stands for Marshmallow.

i have a Moto G 2014, its a very good mid-range phone, it runs on Android 5.0.2 Lolipop and soon i will upgrade it to a custom rom (5.1.1)

i don't like samsung phones.... they are expensive and not that powerful... if i had bought a samsung phone with the same price i bought my moto g, it wouldn't do half of what my moto g does!

hate TouchWiz and all that bloatware they put on their versions of android

I have consider buying a moto x but I don't know how fast the processor of that phone. I want a fast phone with huge memory because I will buy a wifi camera to connect to my smartphone. Is oneplus a brand name? I have never heard this brand here in the Philippines.

They're a Chinese brand, they aren't the biggest, but they've been growing steadily for the past year and a half. Though they've sustained some pretty bad press, they seem to be doing okay with their new release, the OnePlus Two. They specialize in high-value budget smartphones, so they're phones aren't super expensive, but the trade-off is that they aren't super high-end either.
