Do you think it's worth buying a second hand phone? Since my phone is already hanging by the thread I want to buy a phone that I can use but I want to buy a second hand iphone since I can't afford to buy a new one. Do you think it's worth it or not? Do you think I should just settle for a cheap version of android phones?

sometimes i think second hand things are much better than the new ones so if you can get a genuine iPhone that has been used maybe for a year that can work for you just don't get one that has been used for more than 2 years

I think refurbished phones are ok. It's just a matter of luck really. You could buy a second hand phone that really stands the test of time or you might get a new one that packs up after a short period. A few years ago I had a brand new iphone that was faulty and used my daughter's old phone which was years old but brilliant.

If the features I am looking for could be found on a cheaper brand then I would settle for that. You are not sure really what you are buying when it is a second hand phone. Goodluck on that.

if you want to buy a smart phone then bought a good new mobile instead of second hand mobile. because if you use second hand phone it will make so many problems that cost so much..

I would advise against buying a used phone. Do you believe in superstition? That old phone might give you bad luck, waheehee. But seriously though, a brand new phone that is expensive would be worth it. Forget the used phone unless it is for free.

We can not judge the quality of the cheap version of android phones because no businessman sells the best quality goods for a cheaper rate and cheap quality goods do not last longer too. So it is advisable to buy second hand phone of good quality

It could be worth buying a second hand phone. Just ensure that the phone is factory recertified. Make sure it has been thoroughly checked and you are buying it from a reputable seller. You would want to avoid problems buying a bad second hand phone. Be cautious.

For short term probably alright, but I am the type of person who will try and save for my own, because I would really like it to last a bit. Or I end up spending more money, when it could have been on one new phone.

I think that it is worth having one extra phone. My father in law last month bought the newest Samsung S6 and it cost a fortne. He lost it few days later and he almost had a heart attack. He had no other phone so he had to take the spare one from his sister. Luckily police has found the stolen mobile phone few days ago.

I cannot suggest anyone to buy a second hand phone. If the phone belongs to your friends/family and you get for free its ok, but never pay for second hand phone. If you don't have money, why don't you go for budget phone. Used phones always have many problems.

Most time I buy old phone, buying old phone is not problem if you get the good phone, my friends selling old phone so I buy from them

Many used phones have "hidden" problems you can only imagine. The occasional fall to the ground, maybe a fall into the toilet (yuk!), exausted batteries, glitching screens and bad sim card contact. Most of those you won't detect until too late. Even a phone shining without a scratch can hide a waste of money.
I'd rather go to chaper new versions.

If you were at Manila you can buy iphone at greenhills for 10 thousand pesos and its brand new .My friend just got her brand new and original iphone at greenhills.

It depends where you will buy it and you have to be really diligent in inspecting before buying the phone. Also, make sure that you can return the phone if in case you go home and discover something is faulty with it.

Depending on the things you need, I still got my old dinosaur, it's and iPhone 3GS, because I just can't afford another phone...
