Hmm, I really dig Pinterest but never thought of it as a promotion tool, it feels more like Stumbleupon, just as a cool way to show new cool things. swalia, how do you make your promotion evident in Pinterest?

I LOVE Pinterest! But I mainly go on there to look at pretty things LOL The problem with it is that it's so addicting, I often find myself 'locked' in there and just can't seem to go for a flying visit. So I try not to log in too often. It's certainly very popular, but like DreekLass, I don't know if I believe the claims because Facebook is an altogether different kettle of fish. I personally go to Pinterest for totally different reasons to the ones I go to Facebook.

I love Pinterest, except for the fact that it's a time thief. I completely lose track of time when I visit that website.

I do think it could be useful for promotion, especially with certain things. I plan to use it with my blog to show off some of my projects. I like the whole idea of it. I just need to set a timer before I go there, lol.

You can definitely use it for promotion. I used to use it to link the images on my blogs, back to my blogs to generate traffic, but then there was some controversy about it, and they removed the ability to link the pictures. Not sure if they have returned it to normal now though.

I have joined in Pinterest site long back itself and posted few contents and I have stopped doing in Pinterest site and I do not waste my valuable time for gossips etc etc. I never waste a single minute by sitting idle, doing some thing is my way. So I do not wish to continue with Pinterest site so I quit the site

Upon first glance, it doesn't quite seem like it has any purpose, besides to share pictures with people who may or may not follow you. But I am not sure what type of online business you partake in, as to whether or not it would be of any monetary/traffic benefit to you.

I have never had that problem. In fact, it's easy for me to spend too much time there, because there is so much to see.

Lol. I think there are just two kinds of people. I find pinning, posting, and repinning pictures on Pinterest boring too. Most of the people I know, use it for business purposes. Some of my friends do use it just because they like to share pictures though.

I know about this Pinterest site long back itself and I have joined and not find any opportunity facility in Pinterest site and so I am not doing this site since long time. I do not know the possibilities to earn money in or with Pinterest site.
