Antivirus for mobile phone

Postby Vinaya » 27 Sep 2015, 13:07

It is difficult to choose a good antivirus on Google play and Apple store. What are the best free antivirus for your phone? Does free antivirus actually protects your phone?

I never heard of getting an anti-virus app for my phone. With the trouble I've been having though, it might be a good idea. I wouldn't even know where to begin in choosing one.

I use eset nod32 Mobile Security. It's free for Android, but I don't know if it's free for iPhones. It's a pretty good app. It doesn't take up a lot of space and doesn't use a lot of battery.

The only antivirus I have ever used on my mobile phones were 360 Security and avast, both of them worked pretty well. 360 Mobile Security is a light anti virus and It’s capable of detecting and fixing system vulnerabilities. You can use it also to clean up idle background apps. Between the two I mentioned my favorite is 360, avast seemed to comuse more of the mobile phone resources.

They have antivirus apps for IOS too, not just Android. I've never actually had a virus/malware on my Android but I keep the app there just for safety reasons. If I had an iPhone, I would do the same.

Free antivirus programs typically protect your device against basic threats.

Commercial antivirus programs (those which you've paid for) protect your device against most threats.
