I found that I could disable it through my extensions. If I have a problem I will google the hell out of until I find the answer or even ask someone here.
kataomoi wrote:Is your computer okay now that you've quarantined the threats? Sometimes it doesn't clean all the way so there are still traces of malware left on your computer. I would recommend using "Microsoft Safety Scanner" just as a back-up scanner to make sure everything's gone. It's free to use and you can download it on the Microsoft website.

Hmmm ok so if you still get iLivid page for downloading something still there. Try to do the following steps:
1º- Enter Windows Safe Mode
To boot into Windows Safe Mode, first shut down your PC. Locate the F8 key on your PC's keyboard; turn the PC on; and as soon as you see anything on the screen, press the F8 key repeatedly. The Advanced Boot Options menu will show up, in this menu you should select "Safe Mode with Networking" and then press Enter.
2º-Delete Temporary Files
For this step you can use the Disk Cleanup utility included with Windows, select Start, All Programs (or just Programs), Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup.
You also can use CCleaner free version (you can download it here: https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download)
In CCleaner select the first option on the left menu "Cleaner", then click on Analize and when it finishes click on Run Cleaner
3º-Download another antimalware software, you can use one of the following:
-Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2015 (https://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/kvrt2015)
-SuperAntiSpyware (http://www.superantispyware.com/downloa ... PYWAREFREE)
4º- Run a scan with one of the software mention in step 3, and after it run another scan with Malwarebytes
5º - Check the Browser you use
Check the extensions and starting page, if necessary reset the settings on the webrowser you are using.
For last you can run Bitdefender Scan Online. I don't know which antivirus you are using but in your place I either install Bitdefender free edition or Avira. You can also install Malicious Software Removal Tool from Microsoft and run it.
If after all these steps you still have problems send me a PM with what is happening.

I know you said earlier that you couldn't download it, but if you boot in safe mode with networking, you should be able to. I would recommend running a full scan.
