Do you use the power of your phone?

Postby Happyland » 13 Oct 2015, 06:36

Smartphones are smart because of what they are capable of doing. Do you use the "smart" benefit of your phone or did you buy more smartphone power than you actually use? Some phones look attractive and are popular but they come with a hefty price tag for that design, engineering and power.

I probably don't use it to it's full capacity but one thing I really found useful when I was on holiday was tethering my laptop to it to get internet because there was no wifi where I stayed. I was surprised it gave me such a good connection and I will be doing it again when I go away in future.

I only use my smart phone for internet access. That's why I shut it down when not in use. For texting and voice call, I still have my old Nokia for that purpose. That means I have 2 phones now.

No, don't use it for the full capacity, I am sure there is more to do with it , but I use it for calls, or if I am out and have to check a message from work, I will do it.
Otherwise, I prefer to do everything else from my computer, than on a phone, it is just easier for me is the reason.

Far from it, my smartphone is primarly my telephone, with SMS functions. Most other features I use in my tablet, more suited for a guy with clumsy fingers like me.

I use an IPHONE and will probably go back to the Walmart $45 program and go back to an android. My IPHONE is okay but I don't like the small screen and would rather do things on my IPAD or Laptop. However, I do use the Smart Side quite a lot.
