What is the best paid antivirus?

Postby Happyland » 13 Oct 2015, 06:41

It is important to protect your devices. A handful of names come to mind including Bitdefender, Kaspersky, Norton, F Secure, G Data and Mcafee. Bitdefender is highly regarded and it has ranked high among independent testing labs for current and zero day threats.

Eset nod32 is the BEST antivirus I've ever used. I've never had a problem with it, it runs fast, and it doesn't slow down the computer or clash with other programs. I would highly recommend buying the program.

But if you don't want to pay for it, you can always keep using the trial.

If I were to use a paid antivirus, I would use Webroot. It seems to be both the lightest and the most feature-rich of any of the paid solutions. I don't pay for antivirus, though, so I just use Avast.

I use AVG on two computers and Norton on my laptop. I like AVG better because they don't ask me a bunch of questions. I just want the antivirus to protect me and leave me alone so I can play on the computer.

In my humble opinion if I had to pay for an antivirus I would choose either Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2015 or Kaspersky Total Security 2015.

Bitdefender features includes top antivirus protection, secure browser for online shopping/banking and Rescue Mode boot partition and profiles for performance optimization. This makes Bitdefender probably my first choice while Kaspersky would be the second, because although Kaspersky is excellent in virus detection the amount of system resources that it uses makes it a bit heavier for some computers.

I had used Bitdefender and Kaspersky. But for me the best antivirus is still Kaspersky.
