I used to chat a lot when I was younger and when the internet started to be very poppular. There were all those chat rooms and I had so much fun being there. But then I started to discover that there is more about the internet than chatting.

I found some great friends online, from when I was way younger, and spent lots of time chatting. Still have their contact, and we are still close ones, even with thousands of miles away in some cases.

The only chat room I use anymore is one on the traffic exchange I surf 2 or 3 hours every day and in fact is one if the reasons I go there. Every so often I get to help someone solve a problem, which can lead to a private discussion of what I do to make money and several have become my referral as a result of chatting.

Working on a New Side-Hustle

Since age is no longer creeping up on me, but rushing in like an NFL ball carrier on 4th down from the 1 yard line. it's very simple.

I do not go online now to chat. There is so much reading and watching that I need to catch up on. During the early days of chatting I must admit that I got addicted to it. Maybe I got tired and bored with it now and decided to focus on other things.

I have some nice friends I made online, some I met in real life others I didn't yet. I used to spend a lot of time playing World of Warcraft and Hellbreath and in the game I had to play with others players so we ended up chatting a lot. Now that I don't play much I also lost my patience to spend time chatting with other people, I rather write messages or emails .

There are a few I have become friends with online and very few, and I will talk them , when ever one of us checks in on the other.

I mostly talk to my own family that live out of state of my friends that do not live close by and would like to message me.

Yes I have a few although some of them don't contact me very often. I love keeping in touch with people from other countries. I think it's amazing that we can chat despite the thousands of miles between us, *waves at Jinglebells above*.

When I was still in University and IRC is still a thing, I used to chat a lot. I tend to find new people to meet with especially around our school and it was fun! Nowadays, I don't even login to messenger (except for Facebook's) and I also use it seldom.

I am not addicted in chatting with friends online. My addiction was lost when I was not a teen anymore. Chatting and exchanging coin words are waste of time.

I used to spend most of my time of forums & online chat rooms, chatting away with strangers, A few I made friends with, talked to them on MSN or Myspace, then Facebook.
Now I can't be bothered. I have very few friends, I have chosen that. friends want you when they want something, when you need them they are no where to be found.
I can't be bothered to sit on my backside chatting to people, wasting valuable hours of my life when I could be practising Yoga or Pilates, getting lost in a book, walking my dogs, doing photography etc etc.
