So i was looking for a similar game. I liked w3 very much. Small maps that are not repetitive are my thing. I played starcraft and starcraft 2 and they are good but w3 is much better. With warcraft there is so much content. Online and offline you can find maps wherever you look. If you want to play solo you can do that. There are ton of maps created by the comunity. And if you like online cooperative play you can play that way as well. If you can recomend some that would be awesome

I love Warcraft, I've played the first one, Warcraft:Orcs & Humans, and man that was fun. Than Warcraft II and Warcraft III were also great and of course the king World of Warcraft which I've played for some years. If you want a game similar to Warcraft III I would say that you should try Armies of Exigo which is a Warcraft 3 clone or you can try Spellforce, a mix of Warcraft 3 and Dungeon Siege.
In my opinion it will be difficult to play a game as good as W3 but the ones I mentioned are good to spend some time playing.

Oh I know and I am so excited about it. Travis Fimmel is one of the actors, I loved that guy as Ragnar Lothbrok in Vikings and can't hardly wait to see his performance in Warcraft. It was about time for Blizzard to make a movie about it, we fans were crying for it for so many years .
