Good evening. I have one question to my Laptop. Every time I open my browser, I receive Startzentrale.de start page instead of google startpage. But in my browser google is marked as a start page. I did not have this problem before. I tried to reset my browser as http://linkmailer.de/viren/startzentrale shows-no result. I deinstalled and then installed my browser again-no result. May be I must reset my Laptop? Are there any good tools to delete this virus? Or mybe I can block it somehow?

go to your start button and then your control panel. go to the section where you uninstall programs and look for something named like it or something new that has been installed recently and uninstall it. then run malwarebytes if you have it, if you don't have it go to bleepingcomputer.com and download it, update it and run a scan. if it finds something delete it or quarantine it and restart your computer then run malwarebytes again

Startzentrale.de is a clean site, it does not host malware, nor does it implement any type of phishing activity. The problem is that there is a program installed on your PC that sets Startzentrale.de as start page, in other words that program hijacks your browser.

To solve this problem you can take the following measures:

1- Scan your PC with antimalware software, you can find some reliable programs like SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes, both have free versions to download. After running the scan choose "fix threats" option not "Quarentine"

2- Remove Startzentrale.de homepage from web browsers manually. You can try to do that manually but in most cases with this threat the best is to reset the browser, which means you will loose add on and other personalized stuff you have done to it.

3 -Just in case also run a free online virus scan, you can use Bitdefender scan online
