Can't stay off Facebook!

Postby cashforuonline » 16 Nov 2015, 22:45

I keep making resolutions that I'm going to be more active here, where I can actually get paid for posting, rather than spending my spare time on Facebook. But somehow I always go back to Facebook, and Forumcoin gets neglected. I mostly hang out in the Eric Fleming/ Gil Favor groups, looking at all the gorgeous pictures. But recently I've also been spending a lot of time on KCL's pages, looking for good shopping deals. (Actually, I spend way too much time shopping, and planning my shopping trips, now that I found out I can get free stuff or even money-makers by combining coupons and apps). I just can't seem to make a regular habit of at least posting 10 posts a day on FC!

Scrolling thru the newsfeed is really addicting. I also try to keep making resolutions I will keep away from Facebook and go to sleep but in the evenings, it is hard to resist the temptation to get my phone and open FB!

you don't have to post all 10 comments on forum coin at once come back during the day before the 24 hours is up to post. im glad you found interesting groups and deals on facebook, I only stay on minutes at a time then get off. when you get online first come to forumcoin then post what you have to say and if its not 10 that's ok come back later, its quality over quantity.

I usd to be like that too with Facebook, but the minute I started working online, it took a back seat. I still go on Facebook, but I lurk more than spend hours upon hours there. tomford is bang on the money; you don't have to post all your daily 10 all in one go here. From time to time, I do it in spurts, if I feel like I'm flagging a little.

I can take or leave facebook now although when I first joined I thought it was the greatest site on the planet. It's the same with anything though, it loses it's appeal after a while. Now I get slightly irritated when I see some of the random rubbish people spout although it is a good way to keep in touch with people you don't see often.

I visit Facebook when I get notifications in my email box, but I don't go there just to browse. Mostly it's just to see photos of my grandkids and keep up with close friends. Then I have another account I just use for marketing.

I never stay off Facebook, first I open facebook for the upgrades and read all those and also the notification and messages by the members. I really like to go through the new updates / status by the friends. And simultenously I will be working online with other sites too. I really love the people who are under my list who help other with their suggestions and help. I am also member in some groups like blogging tips, ifti group, blog with jags, some affiliate marketing groups also they always leave their tips and suggestions to the members so that I am learning those tips there.

For me Facebook can be a distraction when I work online. Sometimes I get bored doing the usual tasks and FB is just a tab away. I use it to keep in touch with friends, know about the buzz, search for other online opportunities .

I used to spend a lot of my free time on facebook, but now I only go there once a day and I only see and read what I really want. i don't spend my time seing what are the others doing. I go there and send a message to someone or check to see if I have messages to.

Reading the word can't in this post reminds me of my old grandma who used to say, "Can't stood on a hill and froze to death". Or Yoda who said, "No try, only do". So if Facebook is taking too much of your time, QUIT DOING THAT!

I never understood why people are so addicted to Facebook because to me it is nothing than another site to visit. I spend 10 to 20 minutes on Facebook just to check the notifications and messages, just a matter of fact I think Facebook is quite boring. I prefer to spend my time working online and making a few cash than watching people posting their lives on a social network. You should be tougher with yourself, set up times to use Facebook and other sites to work online and try to respect your schedule, when you get your payment you will feel rewarded by your work, something that you can not get from Facebook.

I recently made some major changes in my routines to limit the amount of time that I waste on social media, YouTube and TV. I may not be much more productive but I'm definitely happier not wasting four or five hours a day. That's not to say that I've stopped watching TV and YouTube or posting on Facebook and Pinterest just that I've limited my time spent on them.

Actually, I am on Pinterest too, but I hardly ever go there. I use it for promotion occasionally for Zazzle and Etsy.

That's easier said than done! I'll be good for a few days, and won't go on Facebook at all, then I start missing Eric Fleming and go back to see all the new pictures, and then I'm hooked again. I apparently don't have much willpower.

I actually don't usually go on Facebook in the mornings, which is when I do most of my moneymaking sites, but I have so many, plus designing projects to do, that I usually don't have time for ForumCoin. At work is when I have time for stuff like FC , MyLot, and Facebook, and usually Facebook ends up winning. (Of course, sometimes I check Facebook in the morning, say for a Swagbucks code, and then I end up not getting anything done. So I try to stay away for a couple hours anyway).

Is Facebook still as heavily used as it used to be? Is it just as popular as it always was? Facebook is a huge company that attracts a lot of eyes. They have figured out a way to monetized their mobile side of the business. They are probably still growing as a company.

It is very impractical for me to get out from the hook of Facebook. I have several pages to monitor and to interact with my members. There is one Facebook group I created which as of this writing has a total membership of 10,680. I have to deal with their problems, clarify matters in question

It is a disease! I learned the hard way that when I get up, to not start by housework by the computer desk!

Also, I learned that when I am cooking something to not go check Facebook, until I am done cooking! 8-)
