Sounds like a good thing to have around if your phone needs a quick boost.

Since age is no longer creeping up on me, but rushing in like an NFL ball carrier on 4th down from the 1 yard line. it's very simple.

Wow a phone that can charge the battery of another phone. That sounds like a pretty cool concept. I wonder if the phone must be plugged into an electrical outlet in order for it to charge another phone. If so then you cannot truly be mobile while it is working to charge the other phone.

I was shopping yesterday and noticed a device for $19.95 that can be charged from an outlet or auto cigar lighter and used to recharge any other device from it several time before it needs to be recharged again. I spend most of my time at home so don't need one, but for those who frequently need a portable recharging station it would be an inexpensive method.

I received a portable mobile recharger as a gift from my brother couple of weeks ago. Though I too spend most of my time at home, I find this handy since after charging this, if I charge my mobile from this, it gets charged faster and when there is a power cut also, I find this very helpful.

They are called powerbanks. Very useful for the ones that have intense battery usage or in case you need to charge your phone and don't really have and outlet available. They are not expensive, as you said. Mi (the chinese brand) has nice ones.

So basically they are making the smartphones a power bank. That's a good idea in emergency situations although the primary phone would be needed to be recharged more often as I understand.

Another option I use, is to get a car charger to keep my phone topped up while driving.

I have seen the portable chargers for phones but like you @Oldbuddy I am at home most of the time and leave it on the charger. But I also have a cord that I leave in the car so I can charge while I am driving or if I want to listen to my downloaded music. Very convenient.
